Targeted Meets

Next there are the Open Meets, including our own WFSC Open Meet which we as a club advise you as a swimmer to attend in order to gain experience at competitive swimming and also the chance to obtain County, Regional and National Qualification Times.  We attend Open Meets as a Club and you can choose to swim the races you want, although we strongly advise you consult your coach before you put in your entries!  Some Open Meets have criteria to attend, so check your entry forms when you get them to make sure you meet the qualifying times for the races you want to enter.

County, Regional and National Championships

Finally there are the County, Regional and National Championships for which you need to obtain specific times or criteria in order to attend. You coach will keep you apraised of your progress and advise you how best to approach these types of competitions.
