Welcome to our Learn to Swim Programme
Wyre Forest Swimming Club welcomes children who want to learn to swim from the age of 4 upwards. We follow the Swim England framework in which swimmers will advance through progressive defined stages. We provide these lessons either through our cost effective group sessions or by dedicated 1-2-1 lessons.
Our team of qualified teachers and aquatic helpers have a wealth of experience of teaching and competitive swimming. The main focus is teaching the FUNdamentals to children to give them the ability to enjoy swimming later in life in whatever capacity that means to them.
As a club we tend to stand out from others in believing that good swimmers have to have good techniques and that’s what our qualified Swim England teachers focus on.
Swimming lessons are held at King Charles I School, Kidderminster on Monday to Wednesday’s from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and Saturday’s at Holy Trinity School from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
Our club works hard to ensure that lanes are not overcrowded with our teachers all DBS checked and having completed Swim England teacher training. Class costs per month are competitively priced and are good value with prices inclusive of all equipment, swimming hats and certificates.
The club has been providing this service for decades and has had many swimmers progress through the various stages later achieving as they get older their goals of swimming at County, Regional and National swimming competitions.
